So, as you all know we like names that are a little different. We are trying to agree on a name for our baby girl and are having a hard time. I tend to like the boy names for girls and Brandon is seeming to like the more traditional names this time around.
I am going to list some that each of us like, and if you want, you can tell me which one or two are your favorites. Or you can tell me don't like any of them, but if you do that you have to give me some other suggestions. That would be so helpful! And, hopefully after all this work this baby really will be a girl. It is still a little hard for me to believe. I have another ultrasound next week to see if my placenta has moved up-so I will have them double check- and then maybe I will stop worrying about it. Here are the names:
1. Hadley
2. Peyton
3. Emerson
4. Ajay
5. Paige
6. Ember
7. Laney
8. Avery
9. Jade
10. Tate
11. McKinnley
12. Corie
13. Summer
14. Reagan
THANK YOU!

After three boys, I think you should go with an actual girls name :) My favorite is Paige and Brad likes Summer. I have such a hard time liking the boy names and I would think you'd actually want to use a girls name since it is a GIRL! Anyway, good luck with the naming thing. I have a hard time picking a name too!
I LOVE Hadley. If my third was a girl her name would have been Hadley. My friend just named her daughter Emerson and they call her Sunny. Kind of different. I really like Avery, too. Good luck! Naming babies is the hardest thing ever.
The first commentor has a point about giving her a girls girly name after three boys...but I love Hadley, Payten, and Ryann!!
I agree with the girl naming. I like Emerson. But Ajay? I veto that (but that means nothing since it's up to you.) I was confused even reading it. Like is she Arabic? Is it a hard jay or a foreign sounding j? Anyway, I have totally different ideas each time I have a baby what it will be if it's a girl. With Cash (since we didn't know the sex) it would have been Audrey Kate. Then later I wanted Cassidy but Ryan wouldn't go for it, so then we would just have gone with Kate. Who knows what I'll think in another ??? years - or if I ever get a girl.
Hadley, Avery, Reagan and Paige are my favorites. Since Jones is a fairly common last name, check with your pediatrician's office to see if there are already girls with the name you like or even your kids' school. That may eliminate some for you.
Good Luck!
I love Reagan. I really liked this name last time, but it wasn't my turn. So if you don't use it I might have to have another girl.
Good luck.
My top 3 are Reagan, Laney, and Paige. In that order... My least favorites are Tate, Corie, and Emerson... still cute, just my "least" favorites. Good luck! I think a girls would be SO HARD to name! Pretty sure I won't have it as a problem though. I am about as sure I'll get a girl, as Andrea is sure she'll get a boy. :)
Jen, I am not sure about Ajay (AJ) either, just so you know that is not one of the names I have picked. That will NOT be my baby's name. I just had to add a few of Brandon's ideas. You make me laugh.
And just so the rest of you know-all those "boy" names seem quite girly to me, so I don't really feel like I am giving my girl a boy name like some of you may feel.
Laurie - I don't feel like you're giving your girls a boy name...it's just that you said you like the boy names for girls, which is why I said that. Anyway...good luck on picking a name!
I love Hadley! That is way cute. How about Jaylee pronounced J Lee you could spell it however. I just met a darling girl with that name.

so fun. i love names. I always wanted my name to be Jade growing up. I like McKinnley or McKinna for a different sound. Reagan and Paige are my top picks on your list. Tate is totally a boys name in my mind but that is because my cousin just named his baby boy Tate.
I have been thinking about names since your post. I like McKenna, McKell (sp?), Aubrey, Addison, and Emily. Just more to make the decission harder.
Guess I better Sound off... I like Hadley and Paige, Amy I think Ryann is a strange name for a girl? Dustin and Karen named their daughter that, so I guess it is a girls name!
I like Emerson, Hadley and Reagan. Can't wait for the confirmation that it really is a girl.
I like Paige, Laney, and Avery. Although I really like Andrea's suggestion of McKell. We know a girl with that name and I think it would fit well with the names of your boys.
My favorite is Laney....I wanted to name one of our girls that but didn't sound so great with the last name liddle. I also love the name Summer.
REAGON, Peyton and Hadley.
Laurie,
I have a question, how did you set up the pictures on the top of your blog? I am setting up an online recipie book as a food blog like Amy and want to do that, but wasn't sure how you and Tara did that. Can you get back to me on that?
Camille
Laurie, my favorite are Hadley, Avery, and Jade. We were thinking about naming Addie Jade :-) .
You are so funny about putting some of Brandon's favorite names up too. I couldn't belive I was having a girl until I was holding her. I'm so excited for you and your little princess :o)
I like Hadley... How did the Ultra sound go?
I agree with the 1st commenter. I think your little girl will want a feminine name. I agree with Jen about Ajay...no idea how you say it. There is a trend in Utah of people making up names...so I hear. I never thought about it until I left...have you seen the website the Utah Baby Namer or something. I really like Avery. My niece Corie doesn't like so much having a boy name. I like Paige, Avery, Jade and McKinnley. I also like the name Naomi...not too come but not too far out there. I also like Genevieve.
Thank you for all the suggestions. I think we have narrowed it down to Paige or Peyton. Although I am still pushing for Hadley. We will have to wait and see what she looks like!!
Paige is my favorite. That's my youngest daughters name. I don't think she was born yet by the time you left. I hope everything goes well for you!
I vote Peyton
