Well she is here! Here are the details mostly for my keeping. So if you don't want all the details you can skip and go to the pictures.
I had been having a ton of regular and strong Braxton Hicks contrations for weeks (just like I always do). The week before my due date I was dilated to 3 cm and about 50% effaced and really soft. I went to my appointment the next week on Wednesday. I was one day past due. I only had a handful of contractions that day and went to my appointment at 3:00pm. I was going for a VBAC this time and couldn't be induced so I was going to discuss my options. She checked me and I was dilated to 4 cm and 70% effaced. She stripped my membranes and since I was overdue I had to get an ultrasound and a Non-stress test. During all of these test I started to get some painful contractions. I drove back to my sister's house (she had my kids) at about 5:00pm. The contractions stayed steady and strong. Our families ate dinner together and Brandon met me there. I was starting to have to walk around to feel better with the contractions. We decided to go to the hospital.
We got to the hospital at 7:15pm. They checked me and I was almost 5 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I got my epidural (yeah!) at about 8:45pm. and I was so grateful because the contractions were close together and pretty strong. She broke my water at about 9:00pm. At 10:00 pm they were getting stronger and I had to push the epidural button a few more times. I told Brandon I wanted the Nurse to check me. She checked me at 10:15pm and I was fully dilated and she was right there. Yeah!!! I started pushing at 10:30 and she was born at 10:46pm.
8 pounds 4 ounces
22 inches long
Apgar: 7/9
She is our biggest baby by 2 lbs.!!! She is beautiful!! We love her so much and we were so happy the VBAC went smoothly and we had no complications.

Sorry about posting this to your picture...I couldn't figure out how else to send you a message...just curious if your name used to be Laurie Blamires? If not please disreguard and I appologize for the intrusion. If so send me an email I would love to catch up.
Congrats Laurie! She is gorgeous and I LOVE her room, you did an excellent job. Have fun with her!!
Levi wasn't on our poll. It was a last minute switch! Brad really liked it and mentioned it back in December. I wasn't thrilled with any of the names, so I told him just to choose. Levi's growing on me and I think I like it better than the other names we had. Anyway, hope your little one is doing well and that you're both getting some sleep :)
The splash of pink complements her perfect lips. She is adorable.
She's perfect! You got your girl-YEAH!! She's beautiful, enjoy
