Lava Hot Springs

We went to Lava Hot Springs with Brandon's family in June (there are going to be quite a few pictures for the benefit of my family). The boys were so excited to go and use our camping trailer for the first time since we got it. Here she is-she isn't new, that's for sure, but it was so much nicer than sleeping in a tent!

We stayed at Cottonwood Campground right along the river, and there was cotton-EVERYWHERE!! It snowed cotton the entire time we were there. Luckily nobody had any allergies.

The kids loved playing on the play ground right by our campsite.

We went to the BIG local swimming pool. Which was a ton of fun, they have really high diving boards and water slides. We also got square ice-cream cones. Soaked in the Hot Springs-which were steaming HOT. We hiked around a little bit with the kids while the boys went golfing. And we put pennies on the railroad tracks...

And found railroad spikes...which Justin was pretty excited about as you can see.

And went fishing...

Here is the bunch!

Here are my boys on Father's Day! They love their daddy SO much!!

At the end we all presented a little gift for Grandpa Mike for Father's Day-an apron we all personalized and decorated with memories from our 2008 trip! Thanks again Nanette and Mike we had such a great time-our kids will remember that trip forever, just as your kids do. Let's do it again next year!!
